Ping Nuclear Physics

so Ping, or in the expanded terms, Physicists Insipiring the Next Generation: Exploring Nuclear Matter. I dont wanna type all that. I'm typing Ping.

So I applied to Ping with the help of the goat Rodrigo. I didn't know a lot and kinda just yapped a little bit. And I got in!

so what does it entail?

I don't know too much about what I'll be doing specifically. Will add more during july

this is what I know as of 5/15/25

so we plan for 30 minutes

then research

30 minutes lunch

more research

"daily update" I think this means a meeting.

there are two things we do in the research

1.data analysis of neutron detector data. It sounds important it has a fancy name

2.collection/analysis of some mass measurement. This sounds really fun

afterwards, we draft publications for peer reviewed journals

then draft experiment proposals using either detectors we used earlier

then we present at a conferences with a fancy name, and maybe more through the academic year
